The Secret Skincare: Supporting Product Recommendations

Our medical range is different from anything else you can purchase off the shelf. It combines the power of prescription-strength ingredients to create and maintain skin working at optimal condition. Our formulations treat the most challenging skin conditions and work to support general skin health.

When utilising our formulas, it is very important to follow your individual treatment plan recommendations provided by our medical team, and use the correct supporting products.

Below are The Secret Skincare recommendations for products to be used in conjunction with our medical range.

We recommend a gentle oil or cream based cleanser to be used in conjunction with The Secret.

Our Oil Cleanser is beautiful and hydrating and provides a deep clean without stripping your skin.

We also offer a buttery soft Cleansing Balm for all skin types. This formula melts away makeup, sunscreen, and impurities, revealing a soft, calm and hydrated complexion.

Avoid cleansers that include exfoliants like AHA’s and BHA’s, as this may cause irritation. 

Our Solar Serum SPF50 is lightweight, hydrating and elicits a luminous finish with a universal peach undertone that is perfect for daily use providing advanced UVA and UVB protection.

If you opt for another SPF, we recommend choosing one that is non-comedogenic.

A gentle non-comedogenic moisturiser is suggested to be used in conjunction with our medical range.

Our Base Cream is a gentle, nutrient-rich moisturiser that restores and supports the skin, boosting barrier function and providing immediate and long-lasting hydration. 

We suggest hydrating serums to be used in conjunction with our medical range, please avoid serums that include exfoliants and retinoids.

Our Face Serum was designed to strengthen, hydrate and protect your skins lipid barrier. Rich in antioxidants and hyaluronic acid, this provides deep hydration, protection from free radicals and barrier strengthening properties.  

When looking for a Face Oil, we suggest looking for soothing ingredients like Camellia Oil and Olive Squalene.

Our Face Oil is a lightweight, luxurious formula that provides rich hydration and antioxidant protection which helps retain skin moisture and soothes symptoms of inflammatory skin concerns.

We recommend utilising a gentle fruit enzyme exfoliator 1-2 times per week, where necessary.

Our Enzyme Mask utilises the power of fruit enzymes to gently exfoliate dead skin and improve skin texture for a smooth, radiant complexion. With added antioxidant protection, it also works to calms the skin while reducing fine lines and boosting collagen production. We have linked this for you here.

Whilst your skin adjusts to our medical range, it is completely normal to experience dryness, flaking and mild redness and having the right supporting skin products can help to minimise these side effects until your skin builds its tolerance.
